Anthropology:  ANTH 1 + ANTH 2 + ANTH 3

Geology:  ONE of the following.
EART 5/L California Geology
EART 10/L Geological Principles
EART 20/L Environmental Geology

Science Electives:  FIVE of the following.

Chemistry:  CHEM 1A  CHEM 1B/M  CHEM 1C/N
Biology:  BIOL 20A  BIOE 20B  BIOE 20C


Earth Sciences:  EART 110A/L Evolution of the Earth

Anthropology Electives:  Any FOUR upper division ANTH courses (of at least 5 units) from the Physical Anthropology or Archaeology courses.

Earth Science Electives:  Any THREE upper division EART courses (of at least 5 units)

Students in the combined Earth Sciences/Anthropology major may, in addition choose their courses to satisfy the DC requirement from the following Anthropology offerings: 100, 170, 194B, 194L, and 194Y.

Comprehensive (Senior Exit) Requirement:  ONE of the following
ANTH 194 series:  Any Anthropology Senior Seminar in Physical Anthropology or Archaeology
EART 188AB:  Summer Senior Field Internship  (EART 109/L and 110B/M are prerequisites)
EART 195:  Senior Thesis  (requires faculty sponsorship 3 quarters in advance)
EART 198:  5 Credit Internship  (includes comprehensive final written report)
