Earth Sciences Advising

Earth Sciences Advising

In order to align with campus directives regarding the COVID-19 response and to ensure community health and safety, Earth and Environmental Sciences Advising will be available in an online modality only through the end of the spring quarter.

There is no in-person advising.

There are four ways to access advising during the spring quarter:

Appointment, Drop-in, Email and phone.

-Appointment Advising via Zoom

Advising appointment availability has been increased to accommodate student needs. You may schedule a Zoom appointment using Slug Success.

Appointment hours and availability can be found on the calendar below. Once you schedule an appointment using Slug Success you will receive an email with a link for your Zoom appointment. If it is your first time using Zoom we recommend downloading the app prior to your scheduled appointment time.

If you do not see any appointments available in Slug Success it means that all appointments are full, please scroll to the following week to view additional appointment availability.

-Drop-in Advising via Zoom

The EPS department will be offering drop-in advising using an online format. Students will sign in using a google form and then will receive a Zoom meeting link when the adviser is ready to meet with them.

The steps for "drop-in" advising are outlined below.

  1. Go to and complete the form. Sign-ups will only be open during drop-in advising.
  2. Check your email. You will receive a Zoom meeting invitation once I am able to meet with you.
  3. Click the link to join the meeting.

If you are unable to join the meeting once it is your time please let me know and we can schedule another meeting time.

The google form will only be available during scheduled drop-in hours. Please use the advising calendar for updated advising hours.
